Electra doubles down on corporate fleets, targeting 1200 partner fleets by end of 2026

BRUSSELS – 17 March 2026 – Electra, the European ultra-fast charging specialist, today announces its strategic acceleration into the corporate fleet segment - the primary engine of Europe’s energy transition. Not as a newcomer, but as a proven partner. Over the past two years, Electra has built a strong and growing B2B business, serving some of Europe’s most demanding mobility players across ride-hailing, logistics and short-term rental.
Fleets: the economic engine of the transition
In 2025, Belgium reached a 34,7% BEV share of new car registrations, nearly twice the EU average of 17.4%, ranking among the four largest electric vehicle markets in Europe, with 89% of those registrations being corporate fleet vehicles. Their electrification is not just a trend, it is a structural shift that dictates the pace of the entire EV market. By 2030, this segment is projected to generate over €68.8 billion in cumulative savings for European companies, according to European Commission impact scenarios released in December 2025*. Electra is capturing this momentum by offering an infrastructure designed specifically for intensive, professional use.
Beyond a network: a comprehensive fleet ecosystem
Rather than merely providing hardware, Electra is launching a comprehensive management ecosystem tailored to the rigorous operational requirements of modern fleet managers.
Furthermore, Electra’s digital ecosystem provides drivers with a unified European access solution, offering seamless charging across 100,000 charge points in Belgium via a single badge. This ensures total mobility for professional drivers, regardless of whether they are at a flagship Electra hub or a partner location.
Proven legitimacy with global leaders
The financial and operational impact of this integrated approach is already being felt by some of the world’s most demanding mobility players in Belgium, companies such as JCDecaux, HelloFresh, Fnac, NSI, Uber, Bolt and Taxis Verts, rely on Electra to support the electrification of their fleet.
A strategy aligned with scalability
To support this massive scale-up, Electra is planning the deployment of hundreds of new stations in Belgium by 2030, focusing on saturated metropolitan areas, regional cities, and major road corridors. These investments are accompanied by the strengthening of dedicated key account teams and the development of professional management tools tailored to the specific financial requirements of large fleets.
“In this growing and maturing market, Electra is not simply adding a new service, we are integrating Electra into the very core of European corporate infrastructure,” says Louis-Charles Mosseray, General Manager of Electra BeNeLux. By removing every technical and operational friction point, Electra is transforming the electric transition into a clear competitive advantage for businesses and professional drivers alike.”
