Electra becomes Europe’s intelligent EV co-pilot: one app, one badge, and 800,000 charging points with zero added commission

Brussels, June 30, 2026 - Electra, the European leader in ultra-fast charging, is fundamentally transforming the electric vehicle experience by launching its own eMobility Service Provider (eMSP) platform. Starting today, EV drivers can access 800,000 charge points across Europe - including all major networks - through a single Electra app and RFID badge, bringing unprecedented price transparency to a notoriously fragmented market.

Breaking the "charging card jungle"

Charging away from home has long been a frustrating barrier to EV adoption, characterized by a chaotic web of different apps, subscription models, and hidden roaming fees. By transitioning into a full eMSP, Electra eliminates this friction. Drivers now gain access to a unified European network with a station available roughly every 5 kilometres, all managed via one single invoice.

True transparency: 0% added commission

Addressing the industry’s biggest pain point - unreadable invoices and marked-up roaming rates - Electra is introducing a strictly transparent pricing policy. Charging pricing has long been a black box. Electra ends that. Through the Electra app, drivers pay zero added commission on every network. On partner networks - Ionity, Fastned, Atlante - Electra negotiates discounts directly and passes them on in full. The exact price is always displayed before the session starts and remains locked until the end - no surprises.

An intelligent co-pilot, not just a map

Beyond universal access, Electra is introducing a proprietary real-time recommendation algorithm. Instead of merely displaying a list of nearby pins, the Electra app acts as an intelligent co-pilot. It analyzes charging power, station reliability, real-time occupancy, and pricing to deliver the single best charging answer for the itinerary. If a preferred highway station becomes congested, the smart routing system automatically suggests an available alternative, ensuring a seamless journey.

Proprietary technology built for mass adoption

This ecosystem is powered entirely by Electra’s in-house engineering, from predictive grid supervision to the eMSP platform itself. By aggregating real-time data across 800,000 European stations, Electra is building the infrastructure capable of managing energy flows at a continental scale.

"The shift to electric mobility is fast and irreversible. In Belgium alone, fully electric vehicles represented 37% of new car registrations last month”, says Louis-Charles Mosseray, general manager of Electra BeNeLux. “However, this massive acceleration creates a dual challenge: managing the flow of vehicles, and simplifying the flow of information for the driver.""We have built a premium physical network of ultra-fast hubs. This summer, we are making the entire European charging ecosystem intelligent. By offering access to 800,000 charging points with absolute price transparency and zero hidden fees, we are ending the charging card jungle. Electra is ready to be the co-pilot for every EV journey in Europe."
